Wings of Love – Haiti is a charitable organization committed to the wellbeing of special needs children and their family in Haiti, and their integration in the community.
Every child has needs, limitations, hopes and dreams and a child with special needs is no different.
The Wings of Love – Haiti foundation is committed to the wellbeing of young Haitians living with a special need and helping them to achieve their dreams. Wings of Love also commits to assisting their parents in their efforts to accompany and support their children in this journey.
In Haiti today, both the children’s and their parents’ needs are evolving and the challenges at hand are enormous.
OUR MISSION
The foundation aims to stimulate special needs children to maximize their development, to promote their integration in the community and to respond to the needs of their caregivers and family.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To achieve these objectives, the Wings of Love Foundation relies on contributions from the public and from private institutions and organizations, and from the priceless involvement of volunteers who, animated by the same flame, unite their efforts to help these young chicks take flight.
For special needs children, there are a multitude of barriers limiting their access to education.
The Foundation supports projects that provide educational activities as well as entertainment, and also provides the equipment allowing the following to provide the best possible care:
• orphanages and special care centers
• hospitals
• schools
The Foundation is dedicated to educating people about special needs through information and support in the hopes that more people will fully contribute to the wellbeing and development of special needs children.
